Our role also involves working on the transformation of the NHS, especially the development of the GP-led clinical commissioning groups (CCGs), who are increasingly taking on the bulk of the work of primary care trusts like ours.
Update on the future of urgent care in Loughborough
The Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland PCT Cluster Board will be making a decision about the walk-in centre at their meeting on Thursday 9 February 2012. The public consultation showed that many people are in favour of moving urgent care to Loughborough Hospital, but a number of important issues were raised. West Leicestershire Clinical Commissioning Group has made a recommendation to the Board.
