 Consultation - legal obligation
It is a requirement under section 242 of the NHS Act 2006 to involve people.
We therefore need to be able to provide evidence of patient and public engagement and involvement activity and its impact.
This could be:
- when we are taking part in contract reviews, or commissioning services
- demonstrating that targets and standards have been met
- making changes to policies etc.
