Older person's handbook
The
Older person's handbook has been designed to help people make the most of life and to deal with the sorts of issues facing them (as they get older). Most people want to do as much as possible to maintain good health and to live life as fully as possible as they age. This handbook gives advice, as well as ideas, about what might make a difference as you get older. It includes contact details of local organisations and services which can help people maintain their independence.
The handbook has been produced through a collaboration of agencies, led by Leicestershire County Council and Age Concern Leicestershire and Rutland including the NHS, District Councils, Voluntary sector organisations and the pension services.
