Welcome to NHS Leicestershire County and Rutland's website

NHS Leicestershire County and Rutland (the operating name for Leicestershire County and Rutland Primary Care Trust) commissions healthcare for the 677,900 people living in Leicestershire county and Rutland. Our organisation is now part of a PCT cluster with NHS Leicester City, an interim stage in the NHS reforms which are set to see primary care trusts disappear by 2013, and most of their functions being undertaken by clinical commissioning groups.
