Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA)

The JSNA identifies the current and projected health and wellbeing needs of the local population. It contains our collective knowledge about local health and wellbeing, and forms a key element of Leicestershire Together's overall understanding of community need outlined in the Sustainable Community Strategy (SCS).

The JSNA is designed to underpin the commissioning priorities and strategic plans of the local authority and local NHS.  Specifically it should be used to inform the Sustainable Community Strategy, the Local Area Agreement and the NHS Operating Plan.
