Patient experience

At NHS Leicestershire County and Rutland your views and opinions as a patient or carer are important to us. We commission services from across the healthcare community in Leicestershire and Rutland including hospitals, GPs, and community health services.

We asked you to tell us more about your experiences either as a patient, or as a carer of someone using the services. We would also wanted to hear about your recent experience(s) and what you believe would make your future experiences better. Your contribution will help us to develop our Patient Experience Strategy 2010/13.

Our objective is to understand the needs, expectations and preferences of the public and to act on this to provide a high quality experience for all our patients.

Progress has already been made in responding to local patients' experiences. This has come from:

  • Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)
  • Complaints, comments and compliments
  • Patient safety incidents
  • Patient experience surveys

This questionnaire closed on Thursday 30 September 2010, and we will share the results here as they become available.
